About Adria Airways Flights
Star Alliance Regional Membership
In December 2004, Adria became a regional member of the largest global airline network Star Alliance. In cooperation with our partner airlines, especially members of the Star Alliance network, we offer attractive and affordable connections throughout the world.
By joining the Star Alliance, Adria reconfirmed that it is as a modern and efficient airline which conforms and exceeds all safety, technical and commercial standards. Our sponsor for entering the Star Alliance was Lufthansa, which has been our parter for many years. Star Alliance membership enables us to offer a truly global service to our passengers.
The Star Alliance network was established in 1997 as the first truly global airline alliance to offer customers worldwide reach and a smooth travel experience. Star Alliance received the Air Transport World Market Leadership Award in 2008 and was voted Best Airline Alliance by Business Traveller Magazine in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and by Skytrax in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009. Overall, the Star Alliance network offers 17,000 daily flights to 916 destinations in 160 countries.
